Project Overview
The China Railway · Lingnan Residence Project is a large-scale urban residential and mixed-use development located at the intersection of Nanling Avenue and Xiangxue West Road in Beihu District, Chenzhou City, within the core area of the Chenzhou CBD Wuling sector. The project occupies a planned land area of approximately 186.4 mu and is developed in three phases. The total planned gross floor area reaches approximately 550,000 m², including 13 high-rise residential buildings, street-level commercial facilities, public service buildings, and supporting municipal infrastructure. Its strategic location between municipal and district government centers, with direct access to airport, high-speed rail, railway, and bus terminals, places high requirements on construction efficiency, quality consistency, and delivery certainty.

Aluminum Formwork Application
Given the project's large volume, high repetition of standard residential floors, and multi-phase development schedule, aluminum formwork was adopted as the primary structural formwork system. The aluminum formwork system was applied to core structural elements including walls, slabs, beams, and staircases, enabling standardized construction across 13 high-rise buildings. High dimensional accuracy ensured uniform concrete geometry and surface quality, significantly reducing deviation risks and secondary finishing work. Compared with traditional timber formwork, aluminum formwork delivered faster floor-cycle times, lower labor dependency, and stable performance across long construction durations, making it particularly suitable for large-scale residential clusters developed in phases.

Results and Engineering Value
The use of aluminum formwork enabled predictable construction progress, high-quality concrete finishes, and efficient resource utilization throughout the Lingnan Residence Project. High reuse cycles reduced material waste and supported sustainable construction objectives aligned with government-led key supervision projects. Modular system design allowed seamless replication across residential towers, commercial podiums, schools, kindergartens, and community facilities within the development. This project stands as a representative success case of aluminum formwork application in large urban residential developments, demonstrating its decisive advantages in schedule control, quality stability, and total lifecycle cost efficiency for modern city-scale construction.
