Product Features
The back waler runs horizontally behind wall panels, transferring lateral concrete pressure from the panel face through to the tie system and preventing panel deflection or blowout during pours. Punched holes on the top flange and both side faces allow pin-and-wedge connection at any face depending on the wall configuration — straight runs, L-shaped corners, Z-shapes, and U-shapes are all achievable using standard components without custom fabrication. Where two waler lengths meet end-to-end, the back waler connector maintains structural continuity across the joint.
